WHY LLWYN MADOC?

This is high bird shooting at its best.

The shoot is set amongst 3,000 acres of breathtaking countryside and is made up of a varied landscape ranging from steep rolling grass banks, ancient woodland and deep rocky sided valleys.

The shoot is undergoing constant change and innovation. The recent introduction of a new series of partridge drives affords an excellent sporting opportunity to test your skills. We specialise in presenting high challenging pheasants and partridges to afford the best sporting experience to our clients.

WHY LLWYN MADOC

Extremely challenging pheasants and partridges descend from ancient woodland across open parkland. These are some of the most formidable shooting conditions to be experienced.

On arrival breakfast is served in the historical dining room of the main house where we draw our pegs for the day. We aim to be on our pegs for the first drive by 9:30am and normally shoot 2 drives, before stopping for light luncheon where we retire to the shoot lodge.

Further drives after refreshments. Once shooting finishes, we return to the dining room of the main house for a two-course late lunch and await the Game Keeper with the final scores.

We are more than happy to show prospective clients around the shoot out of season and can recommend a range of local accommodation either here at Llwyn Madoc or in the wider community should your team wish.

If you are looking for a high quality shoot with attention to detail, that places clients at the centre of our processes and can also provide accommodation, look no further. The days shooting will be confirmed on payment of a deposit followed by payment in full before the day.

Please refer to the terms and conditions as set out in the contract. We can offer between 250-400 bird days from the 1st of October onwards, subject to availability.

Your day starts and finishes in the historical dining room of the manor house, which gives you a sense of history that dates back to 1747.

DEVELOPMENT
& CHANGE

DRIVES

A recent addition to enhance our already infamous drives has been the creation of a new partridge drive area at Tyn-y-Cwm. Set in a steep sided valley amongst a picturesque cascading stream, birds are driven over you at height presenting a superb challenge of your shooting skills.

PLANNED CHANGES

Further enhancement of the Tyn-y-Cwm valley is planned to expand the partridge shooting opportunities and to create a new pheasant drive to sit alongside our high bird portfolio.

HOSPITALITY

Significant investment has been made to enhance the experience of hospitality during your shooting day. A new shoot room has been built where we retire to during the day for a light luncheon and refreshments.
